June Fellows

FELLOWS, M. June, age 87, of Kettering, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. She was born in Berwyn, IL on October 11, 1929 to Elmer and Pauline Kennedy. June graduated from Lyons Township High School, attended Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA, and graduated with a Master's in Counseling from Wright State University. She worked as a physical education teacher and counselor for numerous years. June loved to volunteer, usher at the Fraze Pavilion, and serve on mission trips. She was a member of PEO, T.T.T, Christ United Methodist Women's Fellowship, and Kettering Kiwanis. June is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger; and brother, Winston Kennedy. She is survived by her children, Chris (Steve) Lathrop, Sandy (Rob) Wright, Mark (Kathy) Fellows, and Alison (Mike) Scholl; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Lorelei) Kennedy; sisters-in-law, Mary Pankow and Louise (Mel) Beil; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will greet friends from 10:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00pm.
