YOST, Karl Edward, age 70, of Washington Twp., died at home with his loving family by his side on Friday, May 18, 2018.
Born in Newark, OH to Louis and Marjorie Yost and then moving to Beavercreek, OH at an early age. Karl graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1966. He served his country during the Vietnam War, returning home to become a Journeyman Electrician with Local 82.
Karl had many hobbies and interests over the years, but the one that never changed was his passion and love of fast cars, Street Rods, and Street Machines. He was talking cars, restoring cars and looking for that next car up until the very end.
He is survived by his wife Jo (Stockert) of 44 years and their son Andy (Angie) Yost of Beavercreek, OH, the grandchildren: Kara, Evan and Mason. He is also survived by his sister, Linda (Richard) Schuffert of Mansfield, OH, his sister-in-laws, Suanna Sawyer of Atlanta, GA, Billye Stockert of Beavercreek, OH, Boni (John) Puckett of Fairborn, OH, and his cousins, nieces, nephews and many very close friends.
The family will receive friends from 3-5:00pm, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:00pm.
