KNOPP, Karl W. 'Willy', age 83, of Bellbrook passed away, Friday, November 15, 2002. Willy was born in Tilsit, Germany on October 17, 1919. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Karl worked for NCR as a Processing Engineer and was a golf pro at Miamisburg Community Golf Course. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dawn Knopp; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and his wife, Janet of Bellbrook; daughters, Kathy Fasig of Centerville and Amy and her husband, William Lippke of Bellbrook; 5 grandchildren, Nathaniel and Corey Knopp, Matthew and Elizabeth Fasig and Jessica Lippke; sisters, Erika Wilson of Centerville and Elfriede Knopp of Kettering. A memorial service will be held, Monday, November 18, at 7:30 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Rev. David Tackett officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420. The family would like to thank the staff of Bellbrook Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for all their help and kindness.
