Katherine Ann Jensen

JENSEN, Katherine (Kathie), of Springboro and a 25 year resident of Centerville, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 21, 2004. She was born on March 21, 1929 in Alliance, OH. She was a graduate of Mount Union College in Alliance with a B.A. degree and a member of the Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Kathie was a former English teacher in Girard, OH and Miami, FL. She was an active member and Elder of Southminster Presbyterian Church, P.E.O.: Chapter K and former member of Twig 10 and Alpha Xi Delta Alumnae. Kathie’s various activities included traveling, bridge and playing golf. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn in 2002.Kathie is survived by her husband, David; 2 sons, Robert, (Judy) Jensen of Mason, OH and Richard of Columbus; 4 grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie, Austin and Sydney; sister, Helen (Ed) Farnham of Medina, OH and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 27th at 1:00 PM at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, 45459. Internment in Pioneer Cemetery, Bellbrook. Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH, 45459.
