WARNING (nee Dorsey), Kathleen Ann, age 78, of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Kathleen was a graduate of St. Henry's High School in Erlanger, KY in 1955. She worked for 20 years at The Learning Center, a children's day care center in Kettering. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She created so many incredible memories for all those around her. She was the "neighborhood mom". Her children's friends referred to her as "Mom" because "Mrs. Warning" just did not fit. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Her unconditional love was felt by each of them. They all loved her deeply.
She had a great sense of humor and it only got better with age. Even as her disease progressed her humor never subsided and we loved her for it. She was a serious woman who really never took life too serious. She loved her husband "Billy" dearly and has missed him greatly since his death in 2011. They were married for 54 wonderful years. They were two of the most selfless people. She was also surrounded by wonderful friends she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by us all.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her loving husband, William J. Warning; John J. Dorsey (Father), Frieda Ann Dorsey (mother, nee Boehmer); sister, Mary (Ervin) Lenhof; and brothers, Thomas (Joyce) Dorsey, Jack (Deloris) Dorsey, Irvin (Joyce) Dorsey, Robert Dorsey, and Jerry (Joyce) Dorsey. She is survived by her children, Timothy (Alison) Warning of Cincinnati, Martha (Jerry) Chamberlain of Kettering, Kathy Palmer of Centerville, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Warning of Lebanon and Christine (William) Baylis of Cleveland; grandchildren, Robert, Melanie, Elizabeth, Caroline, Michael and Alexandra Warning, Todd (Michela) Chamberlain and Tyler Chamberlain, Dianna (Deyton) Turpin (nee Jackson), and Matthew Jackson; great-grandchild, Isaiah Turpin; and 42 nieces and nephews.
