Kathleen Staton

STATON, Kathleen age 76, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. Kathleen was an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. She retired after 28 years of service from the Yellow Cab Company. Kathleen was preceded in death by her loving husband, James R. Yates; parents, William F. and Anne T. (nee Keane) McCarthy; brother, William J. McCarthy; son, Mark J. Staton. She is survived by her children, James M. (Laura) Yates, Robert E. (Susan) Yates, David F. (Jody) Staton, John K. (Mary) Staton, Theresa L. Shelton, Susan E. (Wally) Tipton and; grandchildren, Shannon, Jamie, Heather, Jennifer, Chris, Pam, Julie, Sarah, Amy, Charlene, Joe, Katie, Holly, Lucas, and Gabby; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary E. (Joseph) Kraft; brother, James E. (Montice) McCarthy; dear friend, Linda C. Yates; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E. Second St. Dayton, OH 45402. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM on Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Father Louis Osterhage officiating .
