Kathryn Ann Schubert-Moell

SCHUBERT-MOELL, Kathryn Ann, MD, age 47, passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 at her home. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church where she was a youth group leader. Kathryn was a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy Elementary, Chaminade-Julienne High School, received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton and Medical degree from Ohio State University. She served her residency at Mt. Carmel Hospital, Columbus, OH. Dr. Schubert-Moell was an OB/GYN at Life-Stages. She was a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN, a member of the OSMA, MCMA, AMA, ABOB/GYN, Staff of Good Samaritan Hospital and Miami Valley Hospital and Dept. Chairman of OB/GYN at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was an avid cyclist, seamstress, enjoyed reading, and traveling. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Jeffrey D. Moell in 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Lynn Moell; mother and father, Fred and Angela Schubert; mother and father-in-law, George and Mary Moell; brother, Mark (Mary Lee) Schubert; 2 sisters, Mary Moran of Cincinnati and Jennifer (Rupert) VonFahnestock of KS; sister-in-law, Lauretta (Russ) Moell-Mellon of CO; brothers-in-law, George Moell of CO, Greg Moell, Carl (Jessica) Moell and Dr. Mike(Dr. Ann) Moell; sister-in-law, Lisa, (Tyler) Jones, Monica (Scott) Schneider and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church corner of Forest Ave. and Homewood Ave Dayton, Ohio; with Father Jim Schutte officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
