Kathryn F. Baughan

BAUGHAN, Kathryn, age 96, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2006, at St. Leonard Health & Rehabilitation Center, Centerville. Born in Dayton, the only daughter of Oliver and Alta (Wene) Baughan. Kathryn was a graduate of Oakwood High School, Class of 1928 and then attended Ward Belmont Jr. College in Nashville, TN and in 1957 earned her B.A. from the University of Dayton and in 1971 earned her M.A. from the University of Dayton. Kathryn was a former instructor at UD and retired from Rikes as Department Manager (Corporate Editor). Preceded in death by her parents and young brother, George and her friend, Virginia Peterson. Survived by her goddaughter, Debra Yanney. Private Graveside Memorial Services will be held at David’s Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Rd., Kettering with Father James Heft and Rev. Bill Yanney officiating.
