Kathryn Shell

SHELL, Kathryn, age 83, of Kettering, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. She was a charter member of Eastmont EUB Church where she taught Sunday school, was in charge of Vacation Bible School for a short time and also served as secretary. Kathryn enjoyed working for the United Way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Shell in 2005; brother, Francis Myers, and 2 sisters, Mary Free and Alice Young. Kathryn is survived by her son, James (Lorinda) Shell, of Worthington, OH; daughter Christy (Steve) Utz of Miami Township, OH; 4 grandchildren, Kathy Wegner, James �Jamie� and Mark Shell and Aaron Gallion; 5 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Garret and Ashtyn Gallion, Jay and Elijah Shell and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., in Kettering with Pastor Randy Creamer officiating. Burial in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
