Kathy A Bohachek

BOHACHEK, Kathy A. age 52, of Oakwood passed away, Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital. A 1975 graduate of Carlisle High School, she was class president and homecoming queen. Kathy received her Bachelor degree from Miami University, Oxford, OH. Kathy was CEO of the Miami Valley Literacy Council. She was a graduate of Leadership Dayton and a recipient of the Dayton Optimist Woman of the Year Award. Her passion was her family. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, William J. Bray. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Kip; daughters, Kelsey Katherine and Haley Elizabeth of Dayton; Mother, Anne E. (Rottmann) Bray of Carlisle, OH; brother, John Patrick Bray of Sugarcreek Twp; aunt and uncle, Betty and John Bray of Springboro; and mother-in-law, Claire Bohachek of Oakwood. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Miami Valley Literacy Council, 18 West First St., Dayton, OH 45402.
