Keith B Erd

ERD, Keith Brandon, of Oakwood, passed on January 11 at home. He is survived by his wife Joy Pope Erd, brothers Richard (Dixie) Erd of Arkansas and Dr. Quentin (Myong) Erd of South Korea, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ruth Erd and sister Ruth Erd Karch. Keith attended Fairview High School and The Ohio State University and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was an active member of First church of Christ, Scientist, Dayton, having served as First Reader, Sunday School teacher, member of the Board of Trustees, and Reading Room volunteer. He was also a member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, MA and a member of Masonic Dayton Lodge No. 147, F. Valley of Dayton A.A.S.R. as well as York Rite and a life member of the Junior Pioneers of New Ulm, MN. Retired from NCR Corporation, he was former owner of Rubicon Upholstery. He volunteered as an upholsterer at the Dayton Masonic Center for many years. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Routsong Funeral Home, Oakwood Chapel, with Mr. John Weitlauf officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to service.
