THORNSBERRY, Kellie, age 85, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Following his work at Chrysler Corporation and NCR, Kellie became owner/operator of a barber shop in Dayton. Kellie was also employed by the Beavercreek Board of Education and was a member of the Church of Christ, East Dayton. He was preceded in death by daughter, Janet; sister, Vernon Snowden; and brother, Gladie Thornsberry. Kellie is survived by his wife, Phyllis; sister, Velta Shay of Soldier, KY, and Gladys Conley of Lexington, KY; and his special loved ones, Brett (Heather), and Christian (Jeff) all of IN.; and special friend, Michelle. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Rev. Scott Van Dyke officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. The family will greet friends from 5-7:00 PM, Friday, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, Hospice Unit, 9 North, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428.
