Kenneth E. Nutter

NUTTER, Kenneth E., age 65, of Beavercreek passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. He was a 1963 graduate of Beavercreek High School where he was a letterman, then later went on to earn a degree in Business from the University of Kentucky in 1968. Upon graduation, Ken began working for Elano Corp. and then as President of JBK Manufacturing. Following his fathers passing in 2000, he became a general partner of Nutter Enterprises. Ken was a long time member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church. He was a past president of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce and served on the Board of Trustees for the Miami Valley School. He was a lifetime member of the Aviation Hall of Fame, and a supporter of Dayton's heritage. Preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Josephine Nutter. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Melinda; children, Katie (Sean) McCallum of Springboro and Jonathan (Stephanie) Nutter of Milford, OH; four grandchildren, Josephine, Isabella, Austin, and Michael; and two brothers, Joe Nutter of West Chester, PA and Bob (Mary) Nutter of Beavercreek; step-mother, Zoe Dell Nutter of Beavercreek, and numerous cousins. Family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 5, 2011 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 350 N. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek 45430.
