age 85, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Kettering Medical Center. He was born on September 30, 1917, to the late Charles and Elsie Woods in Morden, Manitoba, Canada. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles E. Woods of Los Angeles, California. Ken was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the North African Campaign. Ken lived most of his life in Dayton. He retired from Dayton Reliable Tool and Manufacturing in 1982. He was an avid golfer and spent his retirement years enjoying the game. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Ruth; a daughter, Debbie (Ray) Taylor of Alva, Florida; sons, Barry (Connie) Woods of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Robert A. Woods of Cape Coral, Florida; step-daughters, Carolyn (Thomas) Hut of Kettering and Kathryn (Robert) Kaiser of Oakwood; grandsons, Ryan Kaiser of Oakwood and Michael and Alex Hut of Kettering. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Visitation will be held from 2-4:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
