Kenneth William Reitz

REITZ, Kenneth William, age 71, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, April 01, 2014. He was born on July 3, 1942 in Xenia, OH to Leonard and Ruby Reitz. Kenneth graduated from Chaminade High School in 1961 and retired from Tifco Industries in 2013 after 14 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Alpha Lodge #729, Independent Order of Foresters, and was an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. Kenneth collected model pedal cars and Wright Brothers memorabilia. He will be known for his sense of humor and caring personality and will be missed by all who knew him. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Judy; son, Douglas (Carolyn) Reitz of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Steven and Lauren; his mother; and sister, Sharon (Carl) Goubeaux. Family will greet friends from 2:00-4:00pm on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 7, 2014 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
