Kwang Suk Jin

JIN, Kwang Suk, age 89, of Beavercreek, passed away July 7, 2024. Kwang was born December 24, 1934 in Korea to Yong Sub Jin and Sun Choi. He was the proud owner of a medical instrument manufacturing company in Korea. When Kwang came to America, he took up working in the WPAFB for many years. He was deeply rooted in his faith and was a long-time member of the Hope Korean Global Methodist Church. Kwang had a kind and selfless soul and went out of his way to help others in need. Family was everything to him; he loved nothing more than surrounding himself with his wife and children and traveling with his grandchildren. Kwang will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Kwang is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Yong Soon Jin; son, Young K. Jin (Myong); daughter, Jum Ye Jin (Abdalla); son, Young H. Jin (Hyun); and daughter, Young Ae Romero; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews in South Korea. Family will greet friends Wednesday, July 10 from 1:30pm-2:30pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral Services will begin at 2:30pm at the funeral home.
