WILDERMUTH, Larry Steven, age 73, formerly of Centerville passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Larry was born January 19, 1944 in Sydney, OH to Willis and Marcella (Jennings) Wildermuth. Larry enjoyed the outdoors immensely and turned his passion into his career as a park ranger. He worked at both Indian Lake and St. Mary's Lake. Besides fishing and camping he also loved to volunteer with Lucky Star Cavalier Rescue where he fostered several dogs over the years.
Larry lived in Florida for six years, but watching the grandchildren grow in photographs was not enough for him and Sherry, so they moved back to Ohio. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Bill Wildermuth. Larry is survived by his wife of almost 33 years Sherry (Kuhls) Wildermuth, children; Karen (Dan) Robinson, Beverly (Mike) Gibson, Thomas Wildermuth, James Traufler, Douglas (Dawn) Dyer, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister; Betty (Larry) Van Hoose, and 4 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
