Laura Christine Cunningham

CUNNINGHAM, Laura (Pagel) age 60, of Kettering died due to pancreatic cancer on Thursday, September 21, 2006. Laura was born in Berwin, Illinois the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Dorothy (Steel) Pagel. Dr. Laura Pagel served the Ohio community for over 35 years as a Pediatric Physician who took special interest in treating children with birth defects and autism. She dedicated her free time to support music, arts, and education within the community. Laura was a devoted wife of 32 years to Dr. John Cunningham of Kettering, OH. She also leaves behind two children, Sarah Ellen of Charleston, SC and John Calvin of Kettering, OH, one sister, Karen (Pagel) Hollings of Bensenville, IL and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and beloved family members. Laura will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering will be open from 1-4:00 PM on Sunday, September 24, 2006 for friends and family to pay their respects and to sign the guest book. Laura’s family will receive friends from 4-5:00 PM with a service starting at 5:00 PM with Pastor Alan Carroll officiating. Laura will be laid to rest on Monday in Johnsville, Ohio.
