CLARK, Laurence G., resident of Centerville who had formerly resided in Sarasota, FL, Cincinnati, OH and Manhasset, NY, died Thursday, April 29. Larry was the father of Karen Blake and her husband, Jonathan Blake of Springboro, OH and Stephen Carine Clark and his fiancée, Alison Marie Barber, of St. Louis, MO; son of Mr. And Mrs. Wesley Gerard Clark of Sarasota, FL; brother, of Dr. Mary Ann Clark and her husband, Nicholas Ryan of Bradenton, FL, Deborah Clark Yeseta and Chris Yeseta of Los Angeles, CA, and Susan Clark and her husband, Gerry Fichter of Sarasota, FL, nephew of Pat and Wally Clark of Port Washington, NY. Larry was the privileged grandfather of Ryan Joseph Blake and Joshua Jonathan Blake in whom he delighted. Is survived by his nieces and nephews; Lindsey and Kevin Clark- Ryan, Robert Hawley, Caitlin Yeseta, Christopher, Shereen, Stephanie, Matthew and Benjamin Tate, Dave Tate and James Canton whom he deeply loved and enjoyed. In addition to his immediate family he leaves several cousins. Larry was born in Brooklyn NY. He attended St. Mary’s High School in Manhasset, NY where he graduated as a member of the National Honor Society. Larry attended Manhattan College where as a member of Beta Sigma Fraternity, he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He served in the Army Reserves. Larry was a retired employee of AT&T for whom he had worked for 27 years as a programmer and a Systems Analyst. He always loved family gatherings, where he excelled at board and word games. Larry will be remembered as a devoted son and father, an avid reader, and a man of great logic and intelligence who was also blessed with a razor sharp wit and delightful sense of humor. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
