Lawrence Edgar Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Lawrence E., age 90, of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, November 15, 2002. He had retired as Maintenance Foreman from the Kettering School System in 1974. Larry was a member of David's United Church of Christ, past 50 year member of Harvest Chapter of O.E.S., Dayton Court of Amaranth, and a charter member of the George L. Marshall Lodge F&AM. Preceded in death by his daughter, Joy Golden; 4 brothers; and 1 sister. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Emma C. Moorhead; daughter, Judy Slanker and her husband, Ronald of Kettering; 4 grandchildren, Rebecca Slanker, Jennifer Kane and her husband, Dan, and their children, Emma, Daniel and Alec, Tami Foster and her husband, Jeff, and their children, Ryan and Mackenzie, and Ranelle Vaidyanathan and her husband, Mohan, and their children Janani and Virinchi. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, in Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Rev. William Youngkin officiating. Masonic service at 11:45 AM. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Tuesday, in the funeral home. Burial in David's Cemetery, Kettering. The family would like to thank the staff at Trinity Community of Beavercreek for the wonderful care given to Larry.
