WITTERS, Lee Roy, age 82 of West Carrollton passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Bethany Village in Centerville. He retired from General Motors after having worked there as a tool and die maker for 23 years. He was a former member of the A.O.P.A., a pilot and master carver. Lee was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Witters, and sisters, Martha Mae Bryson and Ruth Ellen Witters. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Fern (nee Beasley); grandsons: Gregory and Clinton Brewster; step-sons: Michael Brewster of San Diego, CA and Richard Brewster of Miamisburg, OH; step-grandsons, Seth and Samuel Brewster; daughter-in-law, Athy Landis of Miamisburg; sister, Esther Baltes of Tucson, AZ; brothers: Glen Witters of Troy, OH and Herb Witters of Greenville, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Inurnment ceremony will be held 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens mausoleum chapel, 1639 E. Lytle Five Points Rd., Centerville, Ohio 45458. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lee's memory may be made to Feed the Children, PO Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK 73101.
