Lee S. Davis

DAVIS, Lee S., age 84 of Kettering, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010. Lee graduated from Middlesboro High School in Middlesboro, KY and attended Hiwassee College in Madisonville, TN and was a member of the VFW Post 9927 (Post Commander 1997-1998), American Legion Post 598 AMVETS Post 2003 and the Antioch Shrine Temple. He proudly served his country in the USAF during the Korean War and retired from Delco Products after 39 years of service. Lee was golfer and an avid UD fan, he enjoyed running school festivals for Gorman Elementary School and he loved Western style square dancing with his wife. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Evelyn (Sharp) Davis and his brother, Ray Davis. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lucia �Lu�; daughter, Leanne Davis; brother, Earl Davis; niece, Linda Fortuna; and nephews: Bud, Mike and Bob Davis; Bill, Phillip, Chuck and Edward Hinshaw and Gary Smith. Family will greet friends on Monday, November 29, 2010 from 5:00 � 7:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Brooks Heck officiating. Burial to follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
