Leon Pietrantonio

PIETRANTONIO, Leon, 87, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Born on July 27, 1929 in Italy, to Angelo and Maria Pietrantonio. Leon was a loving Father, Grandfather, and beloved husband. Retired from GM, he was an avid gardener and bocce champion. He was a longtime member and usher of Ascension Church. He was an active member in the Sons of Italy and the Duronia Club. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Donna. He is survived by his wife of sixty years Angela, sons Angelo (Nancy) and Steve (Julie) Pietrantonio, daughters Mary (David) Cooney and Cindy (Steve) Collas, 14 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, his 3 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2-5pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. A brief family prayer service will be held at Routsong Kettering at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am on Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Church of the Ascension, 2001 Woodman Dr., Kettering.
