Lester W. Neff ''Les''

NEFF, Lester W. Jr., ''Les'' age 79, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2001. He was born in Bradford, Ohio September 24, 1922. He was a graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. Lester was a veteran of WWII and received his wings from the Army Air Corps at West Point. He served as a 2nd Lt. in the 423rd base unit in Walla Walla Washington serving as a pilot and bomber flight instructor. He was retired from NCR Tool and Die Division. He was a member of NCR Country Club where he was an avid and competitive golfer. Member of VFW #9927 and American Legion Post #598. Preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Velva Neff, brother Keith and brother-in-law Don Kress. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy (Schiebrel) Neff; daughter Leslie Kiefaber and son-in-law, Dr. Robert Kiefaber; daughter Sue Neufeld and son-in-law Ron Neufeld; son Jim Neff and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Neff. Survived by 6 grandchildren; Eli, Courtney, Lindsay & Adam Kiefaber and Ben & Kelsey Neufeld. Survived by brother Richard Neff and Joan Kress both of Greenville, OH. Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, December 27, 2001 at 1:30 P.M. in David's United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd. Kettering, OH 45429. Reverend William Youngkin officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial in David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
