Lillian Clara Davenport

DAVENPORT, Lillian C., 96, of Kettering, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Hospice of Dayton. Lillian was born in New Britain, CT to parents John and Selma Bergquist. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Chicago, IL. Lillian had a passion for the Dayton Opera; having missed only one performance in the past 40 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cross stitching, traveling and reading. Preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Dr. Charles H. Davenport; grandson, Mark J. Davenport; sister, Marjorie Hinckley and brother Stanley Bergquist. She is survived by daughter Ellen C. (Charles) DeBerry of Miami Twp.; son, Charles E. (Deborah) Davenport of Xenia and numerous nieces and nephews throughout the U.S. and Canada. Family will greet friends on Monday, July 9, 2012, from 10:00-11:00am at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial in David's Cemetery.
