Lillian Hudspeth Dickey

DICKEY, Lillian Hudspeth, age 96, of Kettering, OH formerly of Carbondale and Marion, IL, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Liberty Retirement Community in Centerville, OH. She attended Southern Illinois University where she met and later married her college sweetheart, Carmen Boisseau Dickey, in 1931. Lillian loved playing bridge and had a passion for gardening and crafts. She was preceded in death by Carmen in 1963 and son Robert B. Dickey in 2002. She is survived by her sons, Tim A. Dickey of West Carrollton, OH and Daniel B. Dickey of Corning, NY; grandchildren, Laura E. McHugh, Kelly A. Cohea, Andrew B. Dickey, Bradley F. Dickey, T. Scott Dickey and Catherine H. Dickey; 1 great-grandson and 6 great-granddaughters. She was a devoted, loving and special person and will be greatly missed by her family. A private family service will be held.
