Linda Kay Streed

STREED, Linda "Kay", age 64, of Waynesville passed away at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville on June 3, 2013. Kay graduated from Fairmont High School and attended Miami-Jacobs College. She retired from Miracle-Ear as a hearing aid specialist and worked at ADP Dayton and Merle Norman Cosmetics. Kay belonged to Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, Hillside Chapel and was a member of the Dayton Tea Party, Ohio Republican Party and former member of the Dayton Outdoor Adventure Club. She enjoyed gardening, family, whitewater rafting and canoeing, backpacking in Alaska and the Grand Canyon. Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Lorene and Stacil Wickens and her first husband, Rod Joblove. She is survived by her loving husband, Karl Streed; daughters, Kristin Streed and Melissa Gallegos; son, Erik Streed, Michelle Thompson and their two children, Madeline and Gabriel Streed; brother, Wayne Wickens; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 7th, 2013 also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Miami Valley Memory Gardens following the service.
