Linda Kilian Gunzburger

GUNZBURGER, Linda Kilian, was called to her heavenly home by God on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the age of 56. She was born June 16, 1949, and raised in Kettering, OH. She has lived in Chicago since her marriage thirty-three years ago, and is a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Joliet, IL. Linda was a graduate of the University of Dayton and received her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. Presently a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Senior Academic Vice President of University M.D.-Ph.D Educators. Linda touched many lives during her life. Linda is survived by her husband, John Gunzburger; parents Edward and Virginia Kilian; two brothers, Jim Kilian and John (Lori) Kilian. She adored her two nieces, Heather (Jason) Price and Jenna Kilian. Also survived by in laws, Steve and Suni Gunzburger; sons, Michael and David; Sue and Chuck Harrell, and dear friends whom she considered family, Dr. William (Susan) Martin . Linda considered their four children her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Stephen Kimpel officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Dayton, OH 45420-1513.
