Linda W. Keifer

KEIFER, Linda W., age 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. She was born to the late Walter and Thelma (nee Odell) Meixner on February 12, 1934 in Dayton, OH. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother and proud grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and had a passion for art in all its forms. Linda graduated from Fairmont H.S. in 1951. She was a member of the Mother Church of Boston and the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Dayton. Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Taylor and brother, Walter "Bud" Meixner, Jr.. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 62 years, Harry Keifer; children, Monica (Rob) Saxton, Lisa (Grant) Chambers, Christy Ruffner and Scott (Cynthia) Keifer; her beloved grandchildren, Kyle, Bret, Keifer, Troy, Levi, Sarah, and Ryan and sister, Geraldine Butcher-Bettes. Family will greet friends from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH with the memorial service to follow at the funeral home.
