Lois B. Hollins

HOLLINS, Lois B., age 77, of Kettering passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Born May 2, 1933, Lois graduated from Ridgeville Corners High School in 1957 and attended Capital University where she received a bachelor's degree in education in 1955. She was a teacher for many years in the Kettering School system and was a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Lois was a kind and caring woman, wife and mother who volunteered many hours at the Kettering Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gerald B. Hollins; daughters Sharon (Dan) Hollins Frye of Toledo, OH. and Barbara (Tom) Lake of Columbus, OH.; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters Lucille Hansen of Toledo, OH. and Carolyn (Bob) Switzer also of Toledo, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2502 E. Peach Orchard Ave., Dayton OH. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30AM prior to the service at the church. Pastor Tony Sobocinski will be officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, KY.
