Lois Eleanor Peets

PEETS, Lois, 79, of Rockwood, Michigan passed away on February 9, 2008 surrounded by her children. Lois was an active member of the First Congregational Church of Gibraltar, a Red Hat Lady, involved in the Voter Board of Elections, enjoyed square dancing, and was a telephone operator in the 1940's. Lois will best be remembered for being a devoted wife and a loving mother. Her great-grandchildren lovingly called her "GG" (short for great grandma). She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Peets, in 2005 and her 3 brothers, George, Jack, and Lee. Lois is survived by her 5 children, Cindy (Kenneth) Ruby of Roscommon, MI; Ricky (Alice) Peets, of Romulus, MI; Joel (Debbie) Peets, of Fremont, MI; Richard Peets, of Rockwood, MI; Dr. Robert (Shawn) Peets, of Dayton, OH; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Barbara, Noma, and Phyllis.
