Lois Joyce Blevins

BLEVINS, Lois Joyce, age 88, of Miamisburg, OH, formerly of Centerville, OH passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Lois was a long-time member of the Church of the Nazarene where she loved babysitting in the church nursery and teaching Sunday School. Her favorite hobby was quilting, she was very kind-hearted and especially loved babies and children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Bert Blevins Jr.; parents, Stanley and Pearl Pelfrey, and two sisters, Doris Jean Pelfrey and Harriette Whisman. She is survived by sons Michael (Liz) Blevins, Keith Blevins, and Jerry (Marge) Blevins; daughter Linda (Kelly) Clark; sisters Janet Kiser and Sue (Vaughn) Munn; grandchildren David (Alison) Blevins, Courtney (Erik) Wirth, Mark (Katie) Blevins, Heather (Aaron) Bays, Kellie (Chaz) Burke, Cody (Ashley) Blevins, Rachel (Hamed) Yazarlou, Lora Blevins, Michell Blevins, and Janell (Luke) Freihofer; 14 cherished great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 also at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
