Louis Zachary Fronista

FRONISTA, Louis Zachary, age 77 of Kettering, Oh passed away at his residence, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Louis is preceded in death by his parents, Zachary and Angela (Glaros) Fronista. He served for four years in the US Navy serving on the USS McKinley and the USS Consolation and is a veteran of the Korean War. Louis graduated from University of Dayton with a bachelor degree in English and Journalism. He worked as an Editor at NCR and at DP & L for the Forward Magazine. Louis retired from DP & L in marketing and public affairs after 32 years service. He enjoyed writing poetry, sports of all kinds and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Louis was much loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by former wife and close friend; Joy Fronista, two daughters: Lisa (John) Edgar of Dayton, OH and Paula Norris of Kettering, OH, son-in-law: Patrick Norris of Kettering, OH, three grandchildren; Brittany, Todd, and Anthony Norris, two brothers; Dr. Harry (Sylvia) Fronista of Huber Heights, OH, Dr. George (Irene) Fronista of Kettering, OH, two sisters; Flora "FiFi" (Jack) Schoener of Englewood, OH, Argiro "Argie" (Curtis) Williams of Miamisburg, OH; special cousin Elias "Louie" Pardos and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends. Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Annunication Greek Orothodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park N., Dayton, OH with Fr. Mark Emroll officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E.
