Lova M. "Chris" Lilly

Lova “Chris” Lilly, a lifelong resident of Kettering, OH, passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 92. Lova was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 4, 1931 to the late Russell and Evelyn Tamplin.

Lova was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Lilly and their son, Steven Lilly. Lova will be deeply and forever missed by her son Russell Lilly; daughter Cathie (Robert) Stinson; grandchildren Amanda (Jason) Bean; Caitlin (fiancé, Joseph) Ruja; Chauna (Daniel) Damon and great-grand children Xavier Bean, Nicolas Bean and Chance Walls; sister Carol Rismiller; and many other extended family members and friends.

Lova’s days were filled with love and dedication as she provided a warm and wholesome home for her three children and her beloved husband. She had many interests which included quilting, reading mystery novels and inspirational books. She most recently completed her second reading of her favorite book, The Bible.

 
A celebration of Lova's life will to be held at 11am on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH 45429. Friends and family are invited to join in commemorating her life and sharing stories of this very special woman. If unable to attend in person a livestream will be available of the celebration. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church https://goodshepherdkettering.com/giving/ , or Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, in memory of Lova.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and her memory forever be a guiding light in our hearts.
