Lucia Lee Davis

DAVIS, Lucia Lee (Lu) was born July 21, 1923 to Charles and Barbara Hinshaw and passed away, Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Kingston of Miamisburg at the age of 95. She was a resident there for and year and a half. She passed away from complications of pneumonia. She was employed at Wright Patterson until the birth of her daughter, Leanne in 1959 and then became a stay at home mom. Lu was married to Lee Davis. They enjoyed their hobby of western square dancing for over 30 years. They were also active in Amvets Post 2003 and VFW post 9927 for many years. Lee preceded her in death in November 2010. Lu was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, a sister and sister-in-law. Lu is survived by her daughter, Leanne, nephews Bill, Phillip, Charles and Edward Hinshaw, Gary Smith, Bud and Bob Davis and a niece, Linda Fortuna and many relatives and numerous friends. Graveside services will be held at Miami Valley Memory Garden, 1639 E. Lytle Five Points Rd., Centerville, OH at 2 PM, Friday, August 24, 2018. The family would like to thank AMVETS Post 2003, VFW Post 9927 and their square dance family for all of their support over the last 30 years.
