Lucille Ella Watts

WATTS, Lucille E. "Lu", age 88, formerly of Kettering, passed away on Friday July 18, 2008. Lucille E. Ryan was born in 1920 in St. Louis, MO. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended secretarial school, becoming a legal secretary for nine years. In 1947 she met and married her husband of 61 years, Alex H. Watts, Jr. Lu was a woman of quiet intelligence who loved to read, play bridge, and watch sports. She was a life long pet owner and loved the company of her animal friends. She was a long time member of Christ United Methodist Church. Lu is survived by her husband, Alex H. Watts, Jr., daughter and son-in-law; Kathy (Denny) Stitsinger of Middletown, and son and daughter-in-law; Dr. Alex (Rebecca) Watts, III of Beavercreek, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH 7:00 PM Tuesday July 22, 2008 with Rev. Paul Stuckey officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers friends may make donations to the charity of your choice.
