Luella W. Brown

BROWN, Luella, age 93, of Franklin, died April 9, 2002 ,at Towne Point Senior Living in Franklin, OH. She attended college at Ohio Wesleyan, Ohio State University and Wilmington College. Luella taught school for many years in the Ohio public school system in Franklin and Kettering. She and her husband were very active members of Christ United Methodist Church and the Kettering Suburban Senior Citizens. Luella was also a member of the Ohio Education Association. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ira O. Brown, who died January 31, 1994. Survivors include her son, George F. and daughter-in-law, Marty Brown of Asheboro, NC and her son, William A. and special daughter-in-law, Edra Brown of Franklin, OH; grandchildren, Catherine M. Brown, Paul C. and wife, Lisa Brown, Christina and husband, William McCue, Sherry L. Clemente, Richard W. and wife, Tasha Brown, Scott E. and wife, Lori Robinson, Jennifer L and husband, John Evans, Merele E. and wife, Brandy Bowlin; 6 great grandchildren; niece, Betty and her husband, Jim Gotta; and nephew, Richard Williamson. Funeral services will be held at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, Friday, at 2:00 PM. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until time of service. Burial in Miami Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Dayton, P.O.
