Lula Sousley

SOUSLEY, Lula, age 82 of Kettering, Ohio, formerly of Elliott County, Kentucky, until she became ill, passed away, Saturday, July 20, 2002. She attended Aken Hall High School in Olive Hill, KY, and graduated from Elliott Co. High School, Sandy Hook, KY and attended Moorehead State University for 2 1/2 years. Lula then became a teacher and owner/operator of beauty salons schools and Examiner for the Kentucky State Board of Cosmetology. Lula was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, James and Carrie Howard, son, James Thornberry, sister, Byrhal H. Green; 4 brothers, Ray, Leonard, Randolph and Elwood Howard. She is survived by her; daughter, Cheryl (Lamoine) Webb of Kettering, OH; 7 Grandchildren, Kevin L. (Chandrell) Webb of Vandalia, Michael C. (Lynn) Webb of Bellbrook, Brian K. Webb and friend, (Missy Adams) of Vandalia, James W. (Geri) Thornberry, Austin D. (Amanda) Thornberry both of West Liberty, Kentucky, Jennifer (Tim) Monaghan of West Palm Beach, Florida, Mona L. Thornsberry and (Rob) Hoskins of West Liberty, KY; 21 Great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mattie H. (Bill) Redwine ; Numerous nieces and nephews, including many friends. Funeral services will be held at The Lewis and Ferguson Funeral Home, Sandy Hook , KY, Wednesday, July 24 at 11:30 AM, Pastor Warren Vanover officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9:00 PM Tuesday evening and one hour prior to service on Wednesday. Burial in Howard Family Cemetery, Sandy Hook, KY.
