Lydia Marie Mee

MEE, Lydia Marie, age 74, of Centerville, passed away peacefully Friday, December 13, 2013. She was born June 1, 1939 in McCreary County, KY to the late Dester and Valda Daughtery. She enjoyed a career in Sales and Interior Design until retiring to Lake Helen, Fl in 1989. She remained in Florida for a few years after the passing of her spouse William Mee in 2004, and subsequently relocated to Centerville to be near family. Lydia's passions were vast, always eager to learn and understand, but nothing was more important to her than family. Lydia is preceded in death by her son, Charles A. Deal, and husband, William Mee. She is survived by her sons, Harold D. (Rohanna) Deal, Duane S. (Jackie) Deal, and Jeff (Marie) Mee; daughter, Kathy (Dave) Herick; eleven grandchildren; and siblings, Jerold (Marge) Daugherty and Cora (Bob) Johnson. Visitation will be at Routsong Funeral Home 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering on Wednesday, December 18th between the hours of 3:00-4:30pm.
