M. Agnes Weddle

WEDDLE, M. Agnes, age 95 of Washington Twp., passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Agnes graduated from Hebron High School in 1932 worked as an office manager for the student health center at Valparaiso University. She was an active member of Normandy Church and a former member of Hebron United Methodist Church having received her mission pin from the United Methodist Women at both churches. She was also a member of the Fortnightly Club, Modern Priscilla Sewing Club, and the United Methodist Women. Agnes was an avid reader, quilter, seamstress and could cut quite the rug on the dance floor in her day. Her comfort food and cookies were legendary. She was loved by everyone she met. Preceeded in death by her loving husband, Oliver in 1991 and her son, Robert in 1942. Agnes is survived by daughter, Alice Jane; grandson, Scott and his wife Christa of New York; granddaughter, Stacia and her husband David of Dayton; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Emily, Sarah, Jacob and Caroline; her beloved dog �Abby�; sister, Jane McCullough of Indiana; brother, Neil of Indiana and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on October 31 at 11am at Normandy United Methodist Church, Centerville, OH, with Revs. David and Elizabeth Brown officiating. Family will receive friends from 10-11.
