Mabel N. Human

HUMAN, Mabel N., age 89, of Dayton, OH passed away on August 5, 2015 at WoodGlen Alzheimer's Community. She was born on August 23, 1925 in Louisville, KY to the late Bennett and Helen (Simmons) Vernon. Mabel retired from Kettering Medical Center in 1990 after working for 18 years in the Medical Records Department. She adored her family and enjoyed spending her time reading her bible and laughing with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bennett Vernon and Helen Kangas and sister, Marge Kothman. Mabel is survived by her loving daughter, Diana Williams; her grandson and apple of her eye, Michael Williams; brother, Larry Vernon; sister, JoAnn Latham; and nephew, David Kotham. Family will greet friends from 12:00-1:00pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with a funeral service being held at 1:00pm officiated by Rev. Amy L. Arnold. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 31 W Whipp Rd, Dayton, OH 45459.
