Marcy Ann Sherriff

SHERRIFF, Marcy Ann, age 51, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006. Her death resulted from a fall at home. A graduate of Oakwood High School and Albion College, she worked in communications and publications at the University of Minnesota for 15 years. She retained an interest in the advancement of education and literacy throughout her life. Marcy was dearly loved and will be sadly missed. She is survived by mother, Jean; father and stepmother, Stan and Peggy; sisters, Ellen (Jeff) Ireland and Jane (Leigh) Black; brother, John (Cheryl Napier); nieces and nephews, Elizabeth and Olivia Ireland, Charlie and Hazel Black, Justin and Chelsea Owens; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Marcy was supported and encouraged by many persons in various professions during the last decade, and the family is truly grateful for their loving support. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM, Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Far Hills Ave., Centerville with Rev. Kathy Horne officiating. Family will receive friends from 1-3:00 PM, Sunday at Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave., Oakwood. There will be a private burial in Woodland Cemetery.
