Margaret Kay Root

ROOT, Margaret Kay (Koors), age 43, of Kettering passed away Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Heartland of Kettering. Margaret was a graduate of Fairmont East High School and a member of The Church of the Ascension. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl B. and Rita A. Koors and uncle Jack and aunt Ruth Howley. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Joseph Root; 3 children, Joseph E., Molly R. and Elizabeth (Beth) L.L. Root, all of Kettering; 3 brothers, Michael (Mary) Koors Sr. of Huber Heights, Bernie Koors of Kettering, OH and Andrew Koors and fiancé (Yvonne Young) of Dayton; 3 sisters, Theresa (Robert) Schroeder of Dayton, Rose (Steven) Root of Wilmington, OH and Katherine (Michael) Wehkamp of Kettering; mother and father-in-law, Richard (Marilyn) Root of Winterhaven, FL; brother-in-law, James Root of Eaton, OH; 2 aunts, Eileen (Sylvester) Osterfeld of Kettering and Virginia (Edward) Griffin of Dayton and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10:00 AM at The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering with Father Ron Combs officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4 to 8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
