Margaret Louisa Hilt

HILT, Margaret Louisa “Markie” (nee Macon), age 88, of Washington Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 9, 2006 at her home. Markie was a longtime member, past President of Women of Fairmont and member and leader of Women’s Circle groups at Fairmont Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of John Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis, IN., enjoyed reading and loved nature. Markie was preceded in death by her husband, William Hilt; sister, Ellen Brown; brother, Boise Macon; grandson, Jeremy Hilt. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Dee) Hilt of Washington Township, OH, Jim (Jennifer) Hilt of Centerville, OH, and daughter, Jane (Tom) Holloway of Pleasant Hill, OR; 3 grandchildren, Zach (Karlee) Hilt of Lexington, KY, Tyler & Clayton Holloway of Pleasant Hill, OR; great-grandchildren, Cole, Emma, and Cade; brother, Thomas (Leslie) Macon of Houston, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave., Dayton with Dr. Robert H. Wade officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM, Tuesday, January, 17, 2006, at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
