Margaret Manny- Allen

Allen (Manny), Margaret "Peg", age 92, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Bethany Village in Centerville. Peg was born August 19, 1915 to Emerson and Emily George in Zanesville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 38 years, Carl Manny in 1978 and by her second husband of 25 years, David Allen in 2005. Peg is survived by three children, Jean Hofacker, Larry (Linda) Manny, and Susan (Willis) Serr; six grandchildren, Gary Henger, Christine (Michael) McGuire, Kimberly (Aaron) Oakes, David (Michelle) Serr, John Serr and Julie Serr; and three great-grandchildren. Margaret enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and places abroad, square dancing, bowling, bridge and golf. She was employed by E.F. McDonald & Co. and was the first woman holding the position of Office Supervisor. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, Ohio with Pastor John Bradosky officiating. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
