BAGGOTT, Margaret W. (formerly Bevis), age 102 of Kettering formerly of Oakwood passed away on April 11, 2009 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. Margaret graduated from Steele High School in 1924 and worked for Frederick's Helton Travel Agency. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Dayton Country Club. Margaret was an avid golfer until the age of 85 and was the first woman to become a member of the Moraine Country Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Elizabeth Polk; first husband, Stanley G. Bevis and second husband, Horace W. Baggott; children, Stanley G. Bevis, Jr. and Mary Elisabeth Vradelis; sister, Charlotte Boren; brothers, Louis F. Polk, Albert F. Polk and William Polk. Margaret is survived by her son, Martin T. Bevis of Fairfield; grandsons, Stan (Margaret) Bevis of Columbus and Christopher (Gail) Bevis of Mountain View, CA and numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
