BAKER, Margie Ellen, age 83 of Centerville, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011. Margie graduated from Scott High School in Toledo, OH and Cleveland State University. She worked as a teacher at Jupiter Elementary School in Florida, volunteered as a librarian for Ascension Church and was recognized for her thousands of volunteer hours for St. Elizabeth and St. Leonard's. Margie was a devoted Catholic who loved genealogy and presidential history.
Preceded in death by her brother, Robert Waxler. Margie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Baker; son, Peter (Jennifer) Baker; daughter, Josephine (Stan) Peyton; grandchildren, Marshall and Molly Peyton; sisters, Jane Rupp and Joan Robedeau; brother, Eugene Waxler; several nieces and nephews and her many close friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 from 10:00AM to 12 Noon at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with a graveside service at 1:00PM at David's Cemetery. Father Chris Worland officiating.
