Marguerite Miller Gosiger

September 16, 1924 — January 6, 2014

GOSIGER, Marguerite Miller, age 89, of Oakwood, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014. She was born on September 16, 1924 in Wheeling, WV to the late Harry and Clara Miller. Marguerite graduated from St. Joseph High School in Wheeling and St. Mary's College in Xavier, KS. She worked for many years at Rikes Department Store as head of the fashion department. Marguerite loved to play golf and was an avid UD basketball fan. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, the Dayton County Club, the Keenland Club, and the Dayton Women's Club. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, John C. "Jack" Gosiger in 1971. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gretchen and Chris Beust, grandsons, John G. and Teddy Beust, sister, Marilyn Bockman, and brother, Harry Miller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 1322 Brown St., Dayton, OH 45409. Family will greet friends following the Mass at the DCC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dayton Art Institute, 456 Belmonte Park N, Dayton, OH 45405 or to Holy Angels Catholic Church.
