Marianne Robeson

ROBESON, Marianne, 84, of Kettering, OH, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Marianne was born to the late Emery and Carrie (Townsend) Thompson on January 20, 1934 in Ironton, OH. She graduated from Wilbur Wright High School and was a member of Hope Church. Marianne enjoyed tending to her gardens, traveling and enjoying life. She retired from Ohio Bell, after 35 years of service, in 1986. Marianne is preceded death by her daughter, Debra Robeson and companion, Chuck Spalding. She is survived by daughter, Carol (Marc) Vlasic; grandchildren; Amanda, Derek, Jennifer Vlasic; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Thomas and numerous cousins and close friends. The family will greet guests from 9:00-11:00 AM on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Burial at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Miami Valley, 46 N. Detroit Street, Suite B. Xenia, Ohio 45385.
