Marie Elizabeth Herbster

age 97, of Dayton, died Thursday, November 22, 2001. She graduated from Heidelberg College in Tiffin, OH, in 1926, and taught school for 3 years in Prospect, OH, before her marriage to Ben M. Herbster in 1929. Elizabeth was a member of Oak Creek United Church of Christ. Preceded in death in 1984 by her husband, Ben. Survived by 2 daughters, Jane Buehrer and her husband, Marcus of Mansfield, OH and Anne Liston and her husband, Roger of McHenry, IL; 6 grandchildren, Elizabeth Glor, Cynthia Hess, Timothy and Benjamin Buehrer, Douglas and Thomas Liston; and 14 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, at Trinity Retirement Community with Revs. Beverly Jenkins and Dixie French officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, in Prospect Cemetery, Prospect, OH, with Rev. J. Scott Patterson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund, Trinity Retirement Community, 3218 Indian Ripple Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45440.
